CBS and NBC on Video iPod

Tuesday, November 08, 2005

The video iPod has been released lately and has been the focus of much buzz. There have been tutorials on how to convert a dvd into a movie that can be played on your video iPod. There have been tons of new sites popping up to support various video iPod needs. Apple originally had an agreement with Disney to put shows on the video iPod. However CBS and NBC just worked out a deal with Apple to sell their shows for $.99 just hours after the show is released.

This is a very exciting innovation in the way that digital content is distributed. TV producers have been very open to accepting new forms of revenue on iTunes. However, the movie industry has not been so open to Apple's innovation. This is just one more thing that assures us that Apple is on their way to continue innovating.
